'Pure as heaven, tasty as hell'

The Essential brand is delighted to unveil its ‘Pure As Heaven' communications campaign for 2015, which further develops the highly successful 2014 rebranding, as Eli Sarre explains:

"Last year we launched our ‘Going Against The Grain' theme, which reflected our strong belief in doing things our own way. We are a worker co-operative and proud of our ‘consciously different' ethos. For example our range offers a 100% vegetarian and GMO-free guarantee, we support small producers and independent retailers and never sell to supermarkets. First and foremost our range is about flavour - we won't compromise on taste - and some of our products are truly luxurious and even a little bit wicked for the waistline!"

It is unlikely you would find the synthetic diet products commonly found in supermarkets in the ‘health foods' section at Essential. Often low-cal or ‘lite' alternatives have had so much removed from them that they then need a raft of artificial additives, flavours, sweeteners, emulsifiers and preservatives stuffed back into them. Sarre continues:

"That is not we are about. We are passionate about nutrition, flavour, naturalness, whether an ingredient is ethically sourced, sustainably produced. This ethos is reflected in the new ‘Pure as heaven, tasty as hell' message."
