This website provides information on products which are certified by our suppliers. All products are guaranteed vegetarian and GMO free.

Our suppliers, Essential Trading, have over 40 years experience in the ethical wholefoods industry and wholesale, manufacture and distribute over 6000 product lines. Returns

We want you to be completely happy with your order so if there is something you would like to return please contact us within 5 working days and we will make an arrangement which suits you.

How to return or exchange an item

You do not have to pay to return an item, unless it's for reasons other than incorrect or faulty goods. If you could fill in the reverse side of the invoice to tell us why you are returning your goods, we will quickly put things right.
If you change your mind about your order please just email and then send it back to us. Providing the goods are unopened and in good condition, we will refund the value of your order to you when we receive the goods.

Please ensure that you use the proof of posting card at the Post Office when you send your goods back.

What if I live outside the UK?

Unfortunately, we are not able to cover the cost of returning items from outside the UK.

Allergies

Please note that the Essential packs of commodities are manufactured in a facility which also packs nuts and seeds.

The Essential Gluten Free flake range is certified Gluten free and is packed externally in a safe environment.

If any information we have given is incorrect we cannot accept any liability, but we will be happy to exchange goods if they are faulty in any way.

Please always check the details on the packaging before using. This is especially important if there is a possibility of an allergic reaction.

Deliveries

We will deliver your order to you as quickly as we can. Orders will usually take between 1- 5 working days to arrive by parcel courier or Royal Mail. (UK only). Orders for Scottish Highlands, Islands and outside the UK may take longer than 5 days.
Our UK deliveries are sent via courier and will arrive between 9 and 5 on any working day. A signature may be required when you receive your parcel. If you know you will not be there to receive it, you can ask us to send your parcel to a different address when you place your order.

Delivery Options

Delivery costs are calculated automatically as you place your order and are displayed on the "my basket" or checkout page. Goods between 0 and 25 kgs are calculated according to value and weight. Higher value orders Orders over 25kgs and orders for outside the UK will be calculated using Royal mail delivery costs. Delivery charges are not inclusive of VAT and order value is calculated exclusive of VAT. Payment will not be taken until goods are sent out for delivery.

UK Mainland

Delivery costs for goods over 25 kgs are calculated according to Royal Mail delivery charges, or you can email us to discuss larger orders at info@ethicallyessential.coop

Outside UK Mainland

For the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Skye and outside UK we cannot offer a next day service. Delivery costs will be calculated according to how much it costs us to send the parcel to you using Royal Mail. The value of this charge will be given at the payment stage and there is no obligation to purchase at any point. Out of Stocks
If we know an item is out of stock we will remove the item from our listings. Information is updated regularly so please look again or email us.

Occasionally the site will let you order a product but it may be not available when we pick your order. If this should happen, we will process the remaining items so that we get your order to you as soon as possible. If you want us to hold your order if specific items are not in stock please tell us when you place the order. You will not be charged for items which are out of stock.
